BARIATRIC SURGERY

Stomach reduction surgery is one of the most preferred practice of obesity surgery today. The purpose of this operation, also called Sleeve Gastrectomy, is to reduce the volume of the stomach. With this operation, the stomach of people with obesity problems are reduced to approximately 100cc. Thus, people with stomach reduction surgery experience maximum satiety with very little food below normal.
In stomach reduction surgeries, a portion of the stomach is removed with surgical procedures and a stomach is left in a tube-shape.
